Opponauticians, I'm looking for a die cast (any size) model of my son's car, a 1955 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan. The Interwebs are lousy with Crown Vics and Town Coupes but not the quattroporte'd version.
Any ideas?

Sadly, I don't think such a diecast exists like that, four doors don't get the love the two doors get.

Its.... close.

I saw that one already. Apart from the funky graphics (fixable) and low quality (not fixable), it's actually a '56 not a '55. :(

Will a '56 work?
Here's one, and here's another.

I'm trying really hard to find a '55. The only exterior differences between them are the side molding and the front turn/parking lights but ... still.

Sometimes you just gotta.. improvise.
Buy a 2-door or a Skyliner and swap bits?
I have been known to kit bash and meld models when an exact replica of my car was not available. I DID find a XV20 Camry yesterday morning though. Only Motormax made it, and ONLY in HotWheels size. And red.

But, but... it's Taxi José!
Edit: On a serious side. I always find some fanatics at specific clubs. No Fairlane forum?

That's a Crown Vic. I wish my son's car was a CV. That'd make this search much easier.
